Hard working tax payers are being forced to pay people whom do not even live in this town while those who work here and support their families, their livelyhood and families are being tossed to the curb by Supervisor Nolan, being fired or not hired.

1/2/--- Disappointment is growing fast. Message sent is "If you live in Islip you will not be hired, need to get crookhaven moved in here to run down this town! Fooled and screwed you all." islipinsider New User Posts: 2 (1/2/08 10:40 pm)
personnel ----Why are we hiring everyone from outside the Town? All I hear about is how everyone from Brookhaven is coming to the Town of Islip. Don't we have enough qualified people to be Department heads. How about promoting from within and hiring a young work staff. Everyone talks about affordable housing but yet no one wants to come to the table and make a reasonable contract!! There seems to be no difference in politics whether your a republican or democrat or conservative or independent you tell people what they wanna hear and than you stick the knife in there backs. I have been around and for people to give there campaign buddies the high end jobs and screw the working people just is unjust. To stand up at an inauguration and say how you'll give a fair contract and then negotiate differently.

Breaking NEWS to all residents of Islip Town--A town law and rightly so! Top administration must reside in the town of Islip, but the new administration wants their cake and eat it too. They want to change everything to suit there plans, "bankrupt" this town, no one has to live here. They want to bring over all they can from Brookhaven Town ( known as Crookhaven) and Huntington. This way under the table deals apply. The town attorney from Brookhaven they want to bring over-- Town Attorney MUST reside in the town it will run, as too the Supervisor, Deputy Supervisor, Town Engineer and Comptroller. As you may or may not know the recent comptroller was found to not reside here but Nolan said I will look the other way because I own him. Unethical things were asked of him to do and he resigned, and chose not to be owned. Talk about ethics. The comptroller who was now hired to replace him is a friend whom worked with Mr. Nolan in Huntington, hum.
