** Lets remember ladies and gentlemen the famous 2 quotes from our councilman Chris Bodkin--" I'm just a poor sole from Paloohaville" and at a board meeting " I am never so happy as when I have a drink in my hand and am flying out of here!" He represents you! Houston we have a problem.
Bodkin claiming he is with the Supervisor on ethics! Why then did he himself not put in for SEVERAL different years his financial disclosures! Had a no show job, broke the law on campaign donations, in his entire time so far NOT ONE resolution put fourth, why then?
And your taxes pay over $100,000 a year for this.
we have a few more---Another bodkin blooper
Islip Bulletin--Bodkin is excited about this endeavor.
As he puts it, “Who doesn’t want a tree?” Yet, the councilman noted, there are 10 years of negligence to make up for.
“People should know they are entitled to have a tree.”
Another quote:”I have a revolutionary idea, lets do away with voting machines.”
Islip Town Councilpersons job is a state mandate filed of 35 hours full time. The Town Hall is open from 9-5 to call and reach a council person. Salary consist of yearly $88,000 plus benefits, car, gas and insurance which the taxpayer pays.
This was a very huge problem in which Mr Bodkin was found to have 32,000 more miles on his taxpayer paid vehicle than any other council person. At this time it was proven he was working in NYC, but was suppose to be here full time. During this period no one was watching.
This was printed and now we will see as both have other FULL time jobs as one has his own law practice in East Islip. Two places at one time, how do they do it? Remember Nolan highly critizied the prior administration for the same thing. He was going to change things, as we see not a chance.

Also gave $1,000 to Edwards (councilmen) and husband also gave $1,000 she was Edwards campaign worker, she was told if her husband got disability from Police force she could retire and he would give her a job. The husband got disability just this month (he’s not disable, but faked it, it is said .)

Councilman Gene Parrington’s office is located at the Ockers House, 965 Montauk Highway, Oakdale. Lets not forget he is a full time union worker too. His office hours here are Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. He can be contacted by phone at 589-0234.
Is this what $100,000 a year of your hard earned money goes to, wishing happy birthdays when streets, parks and neighborhoods are in need? It was the only thing Supervisor Nolan would let councilperson Parrington do, or capible of doing. I will not take it away from her but please.
Time and our money should be spent making sure the seniors are living well and safety is on their side. The town should have invested that $100,000 towards helping the elderly woman (88yrs old) that was living in filth with no heat, stove or refrigerator whom I personnally helped. I helped her family place her in a nursing home where she is being fed and living in human settings in her old age. The town certainly did not want anything to do with it, a landlord abusing her mentally and financially, the town turned a blind eye. All of this known then and now to the town.
This also applies to our other 2 councilmen as well.
