Our money wasted by the administration, what kind of example is being set? Why would we expect our children to follow the rules and laws when they see the Supervisor doesn't?

NOW people are getting laid off and a BRAND NEW OVER $30,000 TRUCK WAS PUT THEIR, ANYONE USES IT ANYTIME AND PICKS UP GARBAGE OR ... it was seen out after 9:00 at nite, you tell me!
So much for energy savings. Well taxpayers it's been a year now since the administration has known (Nolan especially knew) the taxpayers are paying for the lights in this building (Union Blvd & Carlton Ave) to be left on all day, all nite and all weekend 24/7. $3,000 a month of your money. So much for the new energy savings trying to be shoved in our face from the do gooders.
Plus we now need to add this electric bill to the $3,000 a month. residents told these cars are 20.00 a month lease, well DID THEY FORGET THE ELECTRIC BILL? Plus the cost of installing these plugs was said to be over $20,000

One year after she made her “No Pole Sign” pledge during her campaign for IslipTown Supervisor, Councilwoman Pamela Greene,along with the town board, has spearheaded an initiativeto enforce town code and rid the municipality of what some call “visual litter.”Under Article 29 of the Islip Town Code, it is, as ithas been, illegal to post signs of all types on treesand telephone poles with fines for violations rangingbetween $50 and $250, depending on the offender’s history and the degree to which the ordinance was flouted.Fines can quickly escalate above $250, however, as each week of noncompliance constitutes a new offense, according to Islip Town Attorney RobCicale. “It’s one of those things that’s reached criticalmass,” said Nancy Cochran, executive director forKIC. “We really have hit a tipping point from residentswho are just fed up.” “Everyone on the town board feels the same,”said Supervisor Phil Nolan. “This is visual pollutionand we want to take steps to stop it.” Nolan hasrecently instructed the DPW to remove signs on sight after reporting an upsurge in both the number of advertisements and constituent complaints.

Supervisor Pole signs trashed all over Brentwood and CI! More embarrassing one was put right next to a Keep Islip Clean trash pail.
Supervisors request- from 10 AM to 3 this street was swept over and over, how about yours?
Yes in East Islip there was a taping of a new quiz show, but did the network pay for the fake clean-up? No my friends you did, supervisor wanted to look good at your cost! For two days the supervisor had you pay for this neighborhood to be cleaned to make it look like it always is. Wrong town workers actually sprayed weed killer, pulled weeds, brought in a private company to trim trees and for 6 hours the sweeper cleaned the same two streets over and over! So I guess you pay taxes for something that should be automatic but, unless you have a show on your block you get nothing. By the way the show was cancelled after the first showing.
