4/08 town hall- Modica, Quinlin, Dawson, Genoway and Nolan
10/08 Maple docks- Murphy, Modica, Karb, McCarthy Nolan
6/09 Maple Ave- Modica, McCarthy and Nolan
It is said Modica wants to buy Bay Shore Marina to put up condos.
Hum, could it be the 42,500 in donations to Friends of Phil Nolan, the over 60,000 dollars given to Councilman Bodkin? But wait he told newsday it was only 16,000, no sorry, it was over $60,000. Could it be he wants to buy the Bay Shore Marina and turn it into Condos, this is now owed? Originally the board was paid to get rid of Gene Murphy, the building commissioner, as L Modica wanted to put in his own, the deal fell apart, try try again. Now Councilman Bodkin had to flip sides, over eighty year old ex-airport commissioner Al Werner now given $30,000 for all east end votes also along with the 3yr deal and flip. Elliot Bloom visits very often to Nolan, even left him free tickets for a sports game to attend, hum.

Councilman to repay funds [NASSAU AND SUFFOLK Edition] Mar 7, 2006
Islip councilman Christopher D. Bodkin said an internal investigation has found that millionaire Brightwaters real estate developer Lou Modica paid more than $26,000 in undeclared expenses to a lawyer. Not $15,000 as originally believed. Bodkin also said he will personally pay back his share of the payments, with interest. That amounts to $13,375.11. $13,000 to Friends of Chris Bodkin - the latter amount itself in excess of the maximum allowable contribution under state law, a total of $12,138.50 for the primary and general elections. Last week, following the Newsday story, the Suffolk County Board of Elections ordered Bodkin's campaign to refund the declared over- contribution to Modica - a total of $861.50. Bodkin still has not explained why that decision came eight days after a story in Newsday revealed the existence of the payments by Modica - and at least two months after Newsday first questioned Bodkin.
