Well hundreds $ used to place Islip logo and official plates on cars which workers use, take home even though they live 1/2 mile away. But this obviously does not matter, as they will be abused as they must have taken a lesson from the Town Clerk using the taxpayer owned car for a liquor run, grocery and what ever run. The hundreds of thousand in "so called GPS" means nothing either! That for over 17,000.00 a month of taxpayer money.
Thes phones with gps capability work 24/7 off the battery of the vehicle. For town cars they read every 15 minutes, for DPW they read every minute. But never the correct spot always jumps around the area. But from the time they have been installed it has cost over 35,000 in NEW bateries because they drain and kill them. Thank you taxpayers.
